How lucky we are to be in Africa on World Water Day! What an amazing journey it’s been! We have searched deep into the beautiful countries of Kenya and Uganda for the nastiest water we can find. We have found plenty.

The RainCatcher water systems are magically fascinating! So many people gather in curiosity and are stunned when they see us turning water that looks like dark chocolate milk into crystal clear, safe drinking water. Even we were shocked at times. The taste is pure and clean. Many times it tastes better than the bottled water we’re drinking. What’s great is there are no chemicals added to the water, it’s all natural. And that’s what RainCatcher is all about, educating people and setting up networks in remote areas to bring the crucial gift of life. Just look at how effective they are:
We have done dozens of demonstrations for hundreds. We have seen people nearly come to tears in shock as if they have just found hope for the first time! The emotional connection when you see that is powerful. People can’t thank us enough and are so kind hearted and appreciative. The kids at the schools rush to the car when you arrive. Hundreds are screaming, chanting, sometimes singing in joy! “Here come the RainCatchers” they yell. They sing and dance for us to show their gratitude. One little boy goes up to Darin and offers him some bananas as a gift for bringing him clean water.
In addition to the filters we are visiting newly installed RainCatcher tanks that were donated by Carl Daikeler and Team Beachbody! The tanks attach to rain gutters on schools and simply catch the rain that falls from the sky. Natural and free! This keeps kids from hiking 5 sometimes 10 miles EACH WAY, just to get a bucket of unhealthy water. The folks at RainCatcher believe there isn’t a shortage of water given only a shortage of water received. There’s plenty up above we just have to catch it!

This is so AMAZING! What a great thing Raincatcher is doing for humanity!
Great post and wonderful pictures. The smiles on the childrens’ (and big kids) faces say it all! Keep the love, laughter, and life flowing. You’re chipping away at that billion – drop by drop . . .
